ieGeek Baby Monitor Baby 7S

Want to like this camera for the price point and dual ability to use with phone and the separate console. We don't have great cable in our rural area so signal drops alot. Not fault of product, slow progress in the country. Will be sending back because cant really use. Need old fashioned baby monitor with the walkie talking style handhelds.

Great, clear picture! Love that you can manually rotate left to right. (Doesn’t do it automatically, just fyi.)We discovered it does not pick up white noise, which is great.Only negative is the sound and motion alerts. We’ve turned them off in the app but they still go off and alert/wake us up. Or they continually ding during day time when our son is in his room playing. Very annoying! But other than that, it’s a great camera and monitor, especially for the price!

This camera is a great monitor! It's pretty easy to use and comes with an external monitor (with buttons, not touch touchscreen), which is nice, so you aren't reliant on apps. It can move, following a subject, and can be pretty easily controlled with the monitor, including a zoom function, although it's digital zoom, so it isn't super clear. While it does have night vision, it's not really HD, but good enough to tell what's going on! It connects very quickly to the monitor, which is convenient, and is pretty responsive with maybe a half-second delay. I haven't tried it with an SD card yet, but it's great to know that that is an option! It also comes with adapters, cables, and wall-mount support, which is great!My only issue with it is the translation issues. It's pretty clear that the text from this software was written/translated by a non-native English speaker, so there are a few places where the wording can be a bit confusing. Honestly, it's pretty intuitive, overall, though, so I don't think it's a huge deal. The text gets the information across, but sometimes you have to think about it for a second.Overall, I'm very pleased with all the features and functions of this camera, as it very conveniently comes with all you need to get started. I think it's a fair price and a good value for what it is. Are there better cameras out there? Sure, but how much more would they cost?

Fantastic Company! Customer service is impeccable! They were so quick to respond to an issue we had with our baby monitor and sent out a new one immediately with no problems! Would definitely recommend as their baby monitors are great and our new one is so impressive and even let's us know the temperature of our baby's room which is so handy during the hot weather to make sure our little doesn't get too hot at night!

This baby monitor camera has been a great addition to our nursery! It was really easy to set up straight out of the box, and I had it up and running in just a few minutes. The night vision works really well, allowing me to clearly see my baby even in total darkness.I love that it comes with its own screen but also gives you the option to check in from your phone. Whether I’m in another room or away from home, I can always keep an eye on my little one. The video and sound quality are both very clear, and the connection has been super reliable so far.Overall, a great purchase for peace of mind and convenience. Highly recommend for any new parent!

This is our first panoramic camera. I like how you can make the camera rotate and tilt with the monitors. If you set it up for alarm notifications, you could "follow the action" when motion is detected.It can be charged and unplugged if you can't power it on-location.The monitor it comes with is good. But it's not touch-screen so you gotta get used to using buttons to navigate the menus and select options (like the old TV remote control). You can take screenshots and video. You can not pair this monitor/controller without the smallest SD card.--It will not function without one.Using their app with your phone gives you touch-screen control for panning the camera in a full circle and up and down. And it's quicker to just tap your screen for selections. And you could use the camera without installing the SD card with your phone for live-streaming. (The camera WOULD need it's own SD card to record after motion-sensing or on a timer if you're saving it instead of watching it live.)The set-up was pretty easy-going. And the app works on my older phone. (Not all of them do.) I was relieved during the set-up process that the screens don't time-out if it takes a little while to do the steps. It gives you instructions for each new step and the process was responsive each time I completed a step. (I paired the camera right away to the included monitor/controller and to my phone.I noticed that if I powered down their monitor, I usually had to unbind it again. The process worked every time but takes an extra minute or so each time. Other cameras I use also require this from time to time. There might be an order to do the powering steps that lets it stay unbounded that I haven't discovered.It comes with a paper manual that's ok to get started. It has many languages. But I mostly learned how to use it by playing with it.I've become leery of all these autonomous smart devices that can be recording at all times when you don't realize it. And I noticed there's no way to just power-off the camera. That bothers me but a lot of us are surrounded by these smart devices already. So I'm not considering this to be an exclusive intrusion by only this manufacturer.I think the list price is good for how powerful this tool is.

This was super fast to set up. I love that it comes with a portable screen and I dont have to have another app on my phone. The sound quality is great, the picture quality is fantastic, the screen holds a charge for a few days (love being able to put it anywhere and take it anywhere and the 360° rotation is fantastic and smooth. It has a ton of options like feeding reminders, sleep mode. You get the features of the bigger name brands for a fraction of the price and you really cant beat that!

This product is awesome and easy to set up. As grandparents we need the ability to have our own baby cam for when we take care of our grandchildren. We had great fun setting it up, even our 5 yo grandson who helped us test it out as he played peak-a-boo with his little sister from another room. The camera has a fun sleek design with an extensive 360 degree pivot range and can be quickly moved from bedroom to playroom. The receiver displayed quality video and sound. And the option of a device app is a bonus for use on a cell phone or tablet. This product is a winner!

I ordered this ‘ieGeek 1080p Baby Monitor with Night Vision’ to use to watch our Grandkids when they’re playing in the basement. My wife and I don’t like to stay with them all the time…they don’t like us hanging around any way…so I figured this baby monitor would be a good option.I’m impressed with this ‘ieGeek 1080p Baby Monitor with Night Vision’ for a number of reasons. Firstly, I love how easy it was to pair the camera to the screen…the most time consuming part was trying to find the pairing button on the camera…lol. The whole process took all of 15 seconds.The image quality of the screen is ok being that the monitor screen is do small. But the image is clear, and it’s easy to tell what everything is. And the image quality is still good from 50 feet away.The sound quality of this ‘ieGeek 1080p Baby Monitor with Night Vision’ leaves s lot to be desired, though. It’s tinny and rather distorted. If you were using the set with a baby and it started crying. It would be quite scary. The sound is loud as well.The only real issue I have with this ‘ieGeek 1080p Baby Monitor with Night Vision’ is the limited range of motion in the camera…it doesn’t pan down far enough. And I honestly think that lack of range has to do with the design. The ‘little spaceman’ is cute, but I think that design is what limits the motion.In summary, with the exception of the limited motion range, I do like this ‘ieGeek 1080p Baby Monitor with Night Vision’. It works well for the most part…is easy to setup…and has a decent picture.

I bought two products from IeGeek. Of the two products the one which was the "ieGeek WiFi 1080p Video Baby Monitor Camera with Night Vision, 5" Lcd Screen" model number: ‎826-X, ended up not working well with its monitor. Which is a shame as the products audio and video are PERFECT! I reported the issue to IeGeek and the customer support team were very quick to make me feel comfortable and satisfied. They are sending me a replacement and the replacement should arrive with me in the next 4-5 days. Their software is something to admire, very easy to pair the devises and get them setup!5 out of 5 for this vendor!!

The camera is a amazing value with some many great features. The night vision feature is great for finding dummies in the dark. The customer service was amazing and fast to respond. We had an issue with our camera after a year and they replaced/upgraded it free of charge.

Really happy with this baby monitor. We got it on sale so it was less than half the price of all the others we were looking at and it's been perfect. Really clear screen even when the baby is in a pitch black room. Good sized screen. Volume has several different levels. It was also super easy to set up which was great in the middle of my sleep deprivation. I would recommend.

Purchased the monitors as reviews where good and by good they where right.. can honestly say I wish I purchased them sooner the quality is 100%. I can’t lie I had an issue with speaker and got in touch and the response was exceptional they dealt with the issue straight away trying different methods which didn’t work and without hesitation they sent new ones can’t fault this company at all. If I had to rate company quality and customers service it would all be 100%.

I really love the product. Fantastic camera quality and great features. I did have some slight issues with the audio on the camera and Iegeek have been absolutely fantastic with their after sales service. Very prompt and helpful replies to emails as we trouble shooted the problem and they have very kindly arranged for a replacement to be sent as we couldn't fix the issue. This is the second Iegeek camera I have owned and I wouldn't go anywhere else to purchase more in the future. A really brilliant after sales service that you just don't get from most retailers. After doing a lot of camera searching I finally ended up buying the Baby 7S, and I’m very happy I did.One of the main pulls for us was we loved the design. It’s slick but also cute and works well in our baby’s bedroom.We tested a few monitors and I have to say, the picture quality on this model/make compared to others was also a massive plus for us, along with the monitor size which suited our needs.We actually had a few issues with the signal on the original monitor we purchased, however the customer service team quickly resolved the issue by replacing the monitor for us, and now everything seems to be working fine.I haven’t actually tested this via WiFi so I wouldn’t be able to comment on that side of things, but everything else seems to function very well. I’m happy with the purchase - I would recommend.

We purchased this monitor and camera when our last one stopped working. The monitor and camera are really high quality, and you can hear all sounds clearly. It's given us peace of mind when our son goes to bed. We've taken them with us on holiday, or weekends away, and the system is always easy to use.We had an issue with the monitor when our son dropped it - customer service were quick to reply, and sorted a replacement that arrived within a couple of days. We are really impressed and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this camera and monitor.

We received the product and it was working fine on the phone app but the monitor kept losing signal. Customer service from ieGeek was amazing! They advised me what I needed to do to trouble shoot, and they sent me out a new device as they thought mine was faulty. The new device is working fantastically and the customer service I received was brilliant. They replied promptly with helpful information. Highly recommend.

Upon purchasing the camera everything was working well. App on my phone was great, using the monitor was good and the camera itself was great. Used the camera for a few months and few minor things went wrong. Monitor didn’t work along with app. Spoke to customer service and they replaced my camera straight away. Very efficient and easy to contact them, thank you for sorting that so quickly.

I started this review initially with a 1 star would’ve been 0 if possible. However, since then the company (iGeeK) have reached out and offered compensation and new camera free of charge. The original stance still stands, the camera above this review is awful. However the newest version of the iGeeK camera is outstanding! Perfect picture quality and a fantastic display size.
