This ieGeek wireless video doorbell camera is a fantastic no subscription upgrade for my front door! The 3MP 180° head to toe view captures crystal clear footage from packages on the step to anyone approaching, with no blind spots and sharp HD day or night. AI motion detection is impressively smart, distinguishing people from cars or animals to cut down false alerts, and real time reminders ping my phone instantly. The included chime gives a pleasant ding dong inside the house without extra wiring. Setup was straightforward on 2.4GHz WiFi, and cloud storage works smoothly for saving clips when needed. Battery lasts weeks between charges, and the weatherproof build has handled rain and cold perfectly. Minor con: only 2.4GHz support means a quick router check if you run 5GHz only, but it's no big deal. Excellent value and peace of mind, highly recommend for anyone wanting reliable, subscription free doorbell security!

Easy to use

I ordered this not expecting much, however, this doorbell is a substantial upgrade over our previous ring. It’s elegant and fits well, plus comes with a free ringer. Highly customisable and good quality for the price, especially with the camera if the sound could be improved a little. Full of features and the app is easy to use. Not completely subscription free as you pay for cloud, but good that you can install your own SD card for free recordings and the app itself is free. Support is also excellent, especially with the VIP club. I’d highly recommend.

We got this to try and I’m glad we did as the random brand one from before was okay but not ideal.This one feels good quality and is a bit smaller. But it’s still a bit thick. This sticks on the wall so you don’t have to drill. That’s something we need, and I’d hope no one would randomly try to pull it off.Once it’s up and running the app is very good. And that makes a big difference. You do get cloud storage for a week and a time with clips of a few seconds. You can use an SD card as well if you like. You can upgrade subscription but we didn’t need to.The picture quality is very good both during the day and at night. The connection has been rock solid on 2.4GHz. The doorbell is a nice addition and is easy to hear.For the cost this is the first I’ve used that offers cloud storage without paying more. So overall it works well and we’re really happy with it.

I have many other iegeek cameras, and this one works just as well as the others. Easy to setup, it responds very quickly - I receive a motion detection alert within 5 seconds of it happening. This camera is different to others I’ve tried in terms of what you see… it has a fish eye lens, so you can see a huge field of view, but with a barrel effect. Battery life seems excellent so far and I also really appreciate the ringer unit which can be placed anywhere in the house. It also works with Alexa.

I've tried a few video products from ieGeek now and they've all been very good, so it was no surprise that this also works very well. I've not installed it yet as I will be moving house soon so it will be installed at the new place, but I've opened the box up and tested it out. The video quality is great and the 2K resolution is enough for our needs. I like how you can choose between full screen mode and fisheye and you can see a lot of the area you want this camera to cover.The app is great and you can speak to the person at the door easily. You can also set some pre-recorded messages but I'm not sure how useful they will be yet. I've checked the detection settings and they seem fine but I will have a better idea of how good it is when it's installed. It appears that I can use the same app with this door camera along with 3 other cameras so I can create a full surveillance system, but again I need to set this up when I am established in the new house. The indoor bell chime unit is great. Where I live now the doorbell is very old and useless so it would be handy to have it working here but I won't bother using it until we've moved. It's battery powered so can't be plugged in, but I'll use rechargeable batteries which will be fine.This was easy to connect to the app. I like how multiple users can access the cameras which will be handy for when I'm at work and my partner is at home. Sometimes she is in online meetings and can't get to the door so I can remotely speak to the person at the door and ask them to leave parcels somewhere safe.When I ordered this, it was available at £99.99 which I think is okay value, but when I last checked it was down to £39.99 which is very cheap and an absolute bargain. Recommended.

I’ve always liked IeGeek products and own quite a few of their cameras. I think for these wireless security cameras a lot of the experience starts from a decent app and the IeGeek app works well with all cameras and now doorbell accessed from the same place.Setup was very straightforward with no issues and clear instructions. It only took a few minutes until I had it running and the signal was still good when I took the doorbell outside the house to mount it.The doorbell itself was a bit larger than I expected, bigger than the blink one I had previously. I don’t think this is a bad thing though because it looks quite good and being a bit more visible encourages it to be used, instead of delivery drivers just dumping the parcels and leaving. Being more visible also adds to security as I think all potential, light fingered visitors are aware of these video doorbells watching them now.The bell works well, not taking long to respond to the press and it sounds from multiple places; the doorbell, the phone it’s connected to and also the included chime. It can also be connected to Alexa enabling it to sound from an echo device.There are plenty features in the app to adjust it to your needs, in the same way as their cameras and you can have full video recording without a subscription if you just insert a micro sd card. Without this, there are still mini cloud recordings and live video. When the bell is rung, it alerts on the phone where you can dismiss it or answer to see the live feed and communicate with your visitor if needed.The big thing is the video feed and I’m happy with the quality of it for my needs. It’s pretty clear during the day and has black and white night vision when it gets dark. The camera view is nice and wide with the option of a standard view or fisheye.Overall, it seems to be a great video doorbell which improves home security and is on a platform you can easily expand if you wish.

Really easy to setup and configure, you just point the app's QR code at the camera and it connects to the wifi. It only works with 2.4 GHz though, which is a bit of a shame if you have a mesh system. The camera quality is excellent and works a treat! The only minor niggle is the chime part; it uses batteries and isn't rechargeable. It would have been much better if it could be plugged in permanently. All in all, great quality for the price. Would recommend!

Setup was straightforward via the app, and it connected quickly to my Wi-Fi router without any fuss...its important to not the this connects just to 2.4ghz networks, so I didn't have any issues since I have a dual bandwidth mesh routerThe camera, which is very well built and sturdy delivers a sharp, clear image, and as this is installed right on my door (currently right beside my old doorcam from another popular brand) I can see clearly when parcels are left at the door, and other visitors are extremely easy to ide tify as well.The AI motion detection works well, sending real-time notifications when someone approaches.The most important feature for me, is the indoor plug-in chime which is powered by 3 x AAA batteries which are provided in the box. This has completely solved an issue I had with my previous doorbell camera, where the speaker was built into the outdoor unit itself....and as a result, any bell presses outside could not be heard when I was in my room, and I was fully reliant on the on screen notification of someone being at my door.Two-way audio is clear enough for quick conversations with delivery drivers or visitors, and Alexa compatibility adds extra convenience.As with my other doorbell cam, this works without a subscription, and will require a compatible memory card which is fantastically hidden away by the camera housing (cards to a max of 128GB can be used) but cloud storage is an option at a fee.At the moment, I'm loving this, and while I'm still testing it side by side with my previously owned cam, the iegeek doorbell camera will very likely be taking over as my primary.Definitely recommend it

I am delighted with the image quality. I can see faces clearly without them looking blurry or washed out. The image gives good coverage of visitors day or night. It gives me peace of mind knowing who is at or has been near my door. I found it easy to set up and easy to use. It is brilliant at detecting people. The doorbell is nice and loud. I love this doorbell camera and all its features and it's very good value too.

I got this because I wanted a wireless video doorbell with no monthly fees, and for the price it’s actually pretty good. Setup was really easy – just connect it to 2.4GHz WiFi in the app and mount it. The picture is clear, the 180° view is handy for seeing parcels on the ground, and the night vision is decent too. The chime is loud enough and I like that it comes in the box.

I got this wireless doorbell camera because the battery on the old one stopped holding any charge. This doorbell comes with user manual, fixings, ringing speaker and USB cable. It is easy to install to any door/door frame either with screws or with the double sided adhesive tape. The user manual needs to be fully read in order to be able to set up the doorbell camera with the phone app but once that is done the doorbell provides great functions such as excellent quality camera, night vision camera, motion detection, mobile phone alerts, saving screenshots/videos on local memory or cloud etc. The detection area settings provide great flexibility how the doorbell camera can be used for security monitoring. The battery lasts for ages - 3 weeks usage and it is at 90% capacity. Overall great functionality and good value for money.
