ieGeek Solar Security Camera S1 Pro

I bought this security camera for the outside of my house. The battery was rapidly discharging within 2 weeks of being up, despite it being solar power charged. I contacted customer support and they informed me that it’s likely to be a battery malfunction. They kindly and amazingly sent out another camera for free! This camera works perfectly fine and is charging well. The picture quality is crystal clear and it connects without issues to my WiFi router.The camera has amazing AI features and can determine if a human or pet or vehicle passes by, with almost 100% accuracy. It is high sensitive to what is caught on the camera. The app to use with the camera is easy to navigate with an extremely user-friendly interface.In summary, a great purchase and a trustworthy brand and company. Both camera and app work very well. I would highly recommend this security camera.

Good product, wifi connection is excellent. Stable software, where my previous one from another brand needs frequently reset. Charging from solar is working great 👍

I needed to upgrade the security of my home and also wanted a camera to keep an eye on my pets. I already have a different ieGeek solar camera that I am happy with, so going with ieGeek was an easy choice. The ieGeek phone app is noticeably better than the apps from other brand cameras by looking more polished and with several features lacking from other brands. I really like the quad screen option to quickly see all your cameras at the same time. Installation is easy and the angle mount gives you more control with providing the best angle for viewing and can be quickly unscrewed from the mount if you wish to. . Subscription is optional as ieGeek provides 6 second videos for free in the cloud but if you wish to have longer videos or use the camera for other situation the ieGeek monthly service is pretty cheap. ieGeek customer service is very responsive if you do have issues, so no worries of being neglected as I have experienced from other brand cameras. I mounted this camera on the sunny side of my covered back patio and the camera has so far kept its charge up but I can also plug in a separate solar panel if necessary but haven't needed to yet. If you are looking for a cheap solar camera that will definitely get the job done, I'd recommend this ieGeek S1 Pro.

I got this for the solar recharge that allows me to put this remote without the wires. For this it works great. You can also USB C charge it to get it going, or if you have additional USB power in the area, but you would have to open the waterproof flap on the bottom if you are going to run it off of that.Set up was easy and it allowed me to keep an eye on the wildlife roaming in my back yard which was my primary purpose. That leads to the one issue I have with product; it comes with a very limited mounting capability. It is fine if you have a smooth flat soft wall and it comes with the hardware to handle that. When I looked at my options, they were anything from tree, to fence, or a pole. Not a huge deal I just had to jury rig a way to mount it.Overall, it is still an excellent product that does what it says it does.

I love that this has no wires and comes with a pre-drill hole guide, making it sooooo easy to install. I did have to adjust where I originally wanted to place it, based on how much sunlight would be able to reach the solar panel for charging, but it was an easy enough adjustment to make and still get the angle I wanted to see via my security camera.The app is supported by both IOS & Android stores and gives very easy to follow instructions for setup, both through text on screen as well as spoken through audio. The app is then easy to navigate and manouver. Oh! And the picture quality is nice and clear!Something to note: you will need an SD card (not included) to store photos and recordings on the device (they can't just be automatically uploaded to the cloud). This too is very easy to do, you just need to purchase one separately.

I have had this camera up for quite a while and I've only had to charge it once (about 4 weeks total on the battery life).It was easy to mount on my wooden fence. The image is extremely clear, and the ability to recognize motion is incredible. The app is easy to use. My dogs would trigger it constantly, so I went in and adjusted the settings and the range of detection and it's been spot on since.

This camera has been a great addition to my home security and it has lots of features! I purchased one to see how well it worked and I am so pleased with the result I will be adding a few more around my house. They also have a very great support who is extremely responsive and helpful. I think this is a great buy as it gets me what I was looking for at a great price and I am happy with my purchase.

Set up took less than 10 minutes, not including attaching the camera. I like that you can charge this camera by USB as well as solar. The app was very easy to navigate. The camera connected to my home Wi-Fi with no difficulties. There are paid plans to save footage to the cloud, but you do not have to have a plan to just be able to use live view, and if you want storage without cloud plan, it does have SD card slot. There are many customizations available in app for motion sensitivity, power saving, and alert schedule. The audio does have a bit of delay, but no more than our ring doorbells. The spotlight and siren both work flawlessly, and picture is very clear. I definitely would recommend this camera for anyone who doesn’t have power available where they’d like to add a camera, or for renters who can’t modify a property to add wiring. Great value for the quality and features offered.

The camera has great quality but what I like the most it’s all the features, you can go 360 on the bracket, speak through it, turn light on and off, motion detection, alarm, these are my favorites but it has a lot more. You can literally do anything with it and it’s using solar power so it won’t go on your electric bill.

Really easy to set up and sync. I even managed to screw it to the wall myself.Easy to use. I have it in a sheltered area, so unsure how long the battery will last, but it’s been 1 month and it is fantastic.The light is super bright-another plus for me as it is positioned by the front door.I haven’t used the microphone, as couriers still don’t bother to walk through the gate to the door, even though I can now keep it unlocked…Overall, I recommend this product.

Spotlight on camera is extremely bright and very satisfactory. All in one design is available in black and white. The new app associated with the camera has pan, tilt, and zoom as well as audio ability. SD card slot is handy and helps to not need iCloud storageThis camera is smaller in size than ones that I have previously purchased where you needed to have the camera attached and the solar panel attached separately. This is much better. The lens of the camera is very satisfactory and the quality of The overall unit is excellent. Very easy to set up I had it going in less than five minutes

I have bought this brand before and have always appreciated the quality. This is a compact size which can be fixed easily and unobtrusively. The picture quality seems to have improved on previous models, it is extremely clear now. The battery is also very decent though I do not know how effective the solar panel will be during the winter months here in England. Overall though it is a nice neat package and the software works well

No more solar panel - everything is nice and tight with this camera, which can be discreetly placed on your home. Ours blends in so well it is barely noticeable. The image quality is solid and the app is easy to use, plus offers lots of options like a light or siren. Very pleased with this cam.
