IeGEEK has been a blessing in this house to have.• it’s super easy to set up. I love the fact that I can just scan a QR code and it takes about a minute to connect, then another minute to connect to Wi-Fi, then I can see the signal strength and it’s good to go !• Self charging is the best. I love how it can use solar capability with the panel included. I’ve had one of these break before, and it’s extremely easy to swap out with another one!• my favorite part is no subscriptions!!!!! Make sure you get a microSD from somewhere and get it into the machine right away to see playback!• for the distance that it has from my router, the signal is depicted as weak, but I’m still able to do everything I need to do within the amount of time I need. Everything works very well!I would absolutely recommend this company to anybody and everybody primarily for the no subscription feature and self charging capability. Just make sure you mount the panel to face the sun and adjust it according to the season.

This camera is great. We actually have a few different ones from this brand, outside cameras like this one and two baby monitors that I have in my kids' rooms.I have never had any issues at all with it/them. The connection is always good, the pictures are clear, the solar panel keeps the camera charged all the time, and it was easy to set up. I like that I don't have to have a subscription to get them to work, too. Overall, this camera has been really great for us and our needs, and I would recommend it.

Perfect for indoors or outdoors, I'm choosing to use this on our BBQ patio and the view will be of the area between there and our back deck. Easy to mount- the solar collector was also easy to mount and keeps the camera charged and ready to go without any effort on my part. I installed it where it will maximize capture of maximum direct sun exposure. The app is easy to use and the camera produces a very clear image during day or night and it has great sound quality, too. It does pan side to side but not up and down. This is an excellent value for an exceptional, small security camera and solar collector/charger.

This is the first Magnetic Mount that I have had in these cameras, even though I have 9 other ieGeek cameras installed. The magnetic base lets you position the camera in seconds, no drilling or fiddling with brackets. So that's a great feature I wish all my cameras had.The included solar panel keeps the battery topped off even in cloudy weather. I haven’t had to recharge manually once. Works on 2.4GHz only, but that's a good thing because it has a farther reach than the higher wifi specs.Crisp and clear video, even when zooming in. It has Color Night Vision, which some others like, but I like to turn that off in cameras that cover a large area because night vision mode reaches farther. Pan 180° Covers a wide area. Motion Detection: Smart alerts with minimal false alarms. You can adjust sensitivity to avoid getting false alarms. Two-Way Audio: Loud and clear. Great for talking to delivery drivers or scaring off unwanted visitors. Also has an IP65 weather-proofing rating means it’s handled rain, wind, and even a dust storm without issue.

I should start out by saying that I value security cameras.Straight out of the box it was obvious there was serious thought brought to the design and functionality of this camera.This cam is usable indoors or outdoors and the installation components provided support both options.If you install indoor, I would recommend using the magnetic component. That way it is simple to detach the camera for charging. You can also use the included charging cable to keep it charged always without the need for manual charging.Setup is simple but you need to be sure to turn on required services like Bluetooth, GPS and WiFi. Discovery was quick using the free ieGeek app.The camera should be fully charged before attempting outdoor installation.Because the PIR movement is only horizontal, finding the correct height for the camera install is vital. Consult the instruction manual for height variations.The solar panel was easy to add after installing the main camera.I am very pleased with the video and audio quality of the camera. It is responsive and was sending quick notifications as I was working with itBe sure to add an micro SD card for recording unless you intend to purchase cloud services.All in all, this is a great security camera and is my first exposure to ieGeek cameras. I was so impressed that I ordered a twin pack of ieGeek indoor cams for the house.Recommended.

The magnetic mount made installation a breeze—I simply attached it to my metal door frame, and it holds perfectly.I’m also a fan of the 300° pan and 120° wide-angle view. Unlike other cameras that leave blind spots, this one covers almost every angle of my property. The AI motion detection is smart too—I get alerts in under 3 seconds for humans, pets, or vehicles. The ieGeek Wireless Solar Security Camera is a good stand alone security camera if you are looking for one that can be hooked up relatively easy with no wires and can be charged via the included small solar panel. It has 2k resolution, 2 way audio, 180 degree mechanical panning (yep, I tested that because I thought no way but it does have it), weatherproof, and motion detection (too many complaints from other reviews about it so I disabled it). The ieGeek app works well and lets you see and control the basics from 2 way audio, enable/disable motion detection, it has a small light you can turn on/off, pan (just no tilt) left and right, enable strobe and alert ( for motion detection), has a siren you can activate, and you can take snapshots and record. The app also has paid subscription levels that give you cloud storage and other functions (mostly what I’m not looking for).I’m using this one for my backyard dog watching area and the quick magnetic mount (that is strong, I just attached the metal plate to the back of the camera mount via the magnet and couldn’t shake it off) makes it easy to place at the location and quickly remove if I wanted to charge indoor (cloud covered winter and it might need a boost) or just wanted to remove it for cleaning or storage (out of town and don’t need it in place). Check out the last picture that has it mounted in my backyard with the metal disk attached to the wall and the magnetic mount on the camera sticks it securely to the plate (it's not going anywhere).So far I’m giving it a 5 star rating due to it is at a good price point for all the tech it has in it and the ease of operation.

First, motion detection reacts the moment something moves, sending my phone device the message within seconds, regardless of where I may be located. Also, it offers a 180-degree, pan capability, an easy to install, magnetic mount, 2,4G Wi-Fi and equally important, it is waterproof! I frankly do not see a down side with this security system and application, which requires nothing further except to add the SD mini card. Though other features can be added. Moreover, it was up and running in minutes.

I’m very much loyal to iegeek cameras for 2 yrs now. I have few iegeek PTZ cameras. The quality of this camera is superb. This is not PTZ but still can captures wide range. Can be mounted using the magnet which is included in the package. Easy to install. I could put this camera to any metal. Tried to mount on my fridge. It can handle the the weight of the whole camera. The magnet is very strong. The quality of the video captured is very clear. The app is very responsive.

It works really well lasts ages on a charge and it's so easy to set up. You can adjust the accuracy for your use night light for intruders and two way conversation for deliveries or visitors if your not home.So easy to use and fits almost anywhere.

Absolutely brilliant cameraPurchase this for security on my boat, connected to WiFi instantly signal strength 65% with no drop outs since I bought it a month ago.Battery is very good and lasted 3 weeks with 50% remaining so far after daily waking the camera up to check and test.The 300 degree pan is excellent.UPDATECamera now constantly disconnecting from WIFI and as I’m 60 miles away from it there’s no way of restarting it remotely.I did order a 2nd camera but sent it back for a refund.
